*Adult and Teen Challenge Super Thrift* is seeking a motivated and compassionate individual to join our team in a combined Sales Clerk/Production Worker role.

*About the Role:*

This is a dynamic, dual-function position perfect for someone who enjoys a varied and active workday. You will be instrumental in both the customer-facing and back-end operations of our thrift store.

*Key Responsibilities:*

* *Sales Clerk Duties:*

* Provide friendly and helpful customer service, including greeting customers and answering questions.

* Operate the cash register, process transactions (cash, credit/debit), and manage end-of-day reconciliation.

* Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive sales floor, including stocking shelves and arranging displays.

* *Production Worker Duties:*

* Sort, clean, and categorize donated items (clothing, housewares, electronics, etc.).

* Inspect items for quality and determine their suitability for sale.

* Price and tag merchandise accurately according to established guidelines.

* Move and organize inventory in the back-of-house production area.

*What You Bring:*

* A positive attitude and a passion for customer service.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move up to 25 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.

* Reliability and strong work ethic.

* Basic math skills and experience with cash handling is a plus.

* 1 year of retail or production experience, Thrift experience an asset

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
