Workday Benefits ConsultantOur client is a global Tier 1 Systems Integrator with projects in Canada and we are looking for someone at the Senior Consultant level with Workday Implementation Strategic Sourcing experience.This role is based in Toronto, Ontario Canada EST zone and is fully remote.Role and LevelSenior Consultant levelRole Start Date - ASAPRole End Date - Nov. 2027No. Hrs/Days/Week?Part-time 20-30 hrs/weekThere is another project that is running just staggered 2 months after this one. There is an option for a full-time position between 2 projects. Rate - $90-130/hr - depending on experience.Remote within Canada - EST zone hoursRequirements:Workday Benefits consultant: Lead end to end Workday benefits implementation both to lead and advise the client on best practices and comfort in configuring the Workday benefits solutionWork closely with the data and the integrations team in developing data requirements based on functional requirements and defining integration specificationsConfigure, test, and maintain the Workday Benefits module, including benefit plans, eligibility rules, and event processing.Manage annual benefits open enrolment, life event changes, and regular benefits processing within Workday.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to benefits setup, employee enrolments, and integrations with third-party vendors.Ensure data integrity by performing regular audits and reconciliations of benefits data.Generate and analyze reports related to benefits enrolment, costs, and compliance.Participate in Workday updates, enhancements, and new module implementations.Identify and recommend process improvements to optimize benefits administration.Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday Benefits, providing guidance to HR team members and employees.Liaise with external benefits vendors and internal IT teams for system integrations and issue resolution.Maintain accurate documentation of processes, configurations, and procedures. Qualifications Previous experience in HRIS, with specific experience in Workday Benefits administration.Strong understanding of employee benefits programs and regulatory requirements.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with reporting and data analysis tools is a plus.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Experience with Workday HCM integrations (e.g., EIB, Studio).Knowledge of other Workday modules (e.g., Payroll, Time Tracking).*Only candidates who currently reside in Canada will be considered.*Contractors must be incorporated or named as director to a Canadian corporation.
