General Labour

Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 7am to 7 pm

12 hour shift - 36 hours Week

General Labor Job Responsibilities

• Feed cartons and trays into machines

• Add/remove/arrange cookies from the trays and from the infeed of capper machine

• Check and weigh materials and/or product and rework the lightweight product

• Manually pack product into bags, cartons or other containers when needed

• Perform sanitation on the line and production floor

• Manually wrap the pallets and place corner posts on the pallet

• Transport raw materials, finished products and packaging materials throughout plant manually, or with powered equipment

• Feed flattened boxes and food waste into cardboard and waste compactor

• Organize tools, locate materials, and maintain inventory levels to support smooth production workflow.

• Check products and packaging for basic quality defects

• Separate good and bad products from the quality hold area and rework them

• Fill ingredients in the hopper to keep the production flow going

• Dump jelly barrels in the jelly hopper during production

• Fill the jell barrels and grind cookies

• Support sanitation team for general cleaning during any downtime

• Other duties as assigned
