JOB SUMMARY:

A successful Acceptance Associate will help to nurture profitable program entity relationships, such that Customers value our premium finance services and we achieve superior, sustainable financial returns. The individual performing in this role will be responsible for reviewing, importing and entering submitted premium finance agreements (PFAs) for booking and completing the acceptance process which includes authorization of disbursements, as required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Complete policy verifications through appropriate entities prior to loan processing. Where required, secure approval on exceptions from Acceptance Supervisor, Assistant Branch Manager or Branch Manager. Complete waived policy verifications based on priority.

Input and convert loans within policies, guidelines and service-level requirements.

Process loan agreements, obtain required loan documentation and ensure acceptability of all PFAs prior to loan acceptance.

Review incoming correspondence, update PLUS account with necessary changes/updates and document changes for future verification.

Promptly research entity addresses for all returned mail items and document changes for future verification.

Obtain all “Insured signature required” PFAs within 30 days of booking and follow up when necessary.

Follow up for Loss Payee endorsements and other documentation within required timeframes when applicable.

Provide Legendary Service to all Customer inquiries (external and internal) by responding promptly and thoroughly to all requests.

Proactively anticipate issues and communicate internally with Management, Customers, Account Executives and Sales Executives as appropriate.

Develop and maintain knowledge of tools used by our Customers, including our website, eForms, email reports and available payment options. Effectively communicate the applicable features and benefits and provide training on their usage.

Be knowledgeable of IPFS’s Best Practices and review changes to ensure compliance with the organizations policies and procedures.

Perform various other duties as needed which may include but are not limited to providing support to branch Associates such as quote development and credit reviews

The annual compensation range for this position is $44,000 - $59,000 CAD

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Bilingual French & English preferred

A completed bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or a combination of post-secondary education and work experience

Minimum of one year working in the financial or banking industry preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.

Ability to manage multiple priorities within tight timeframes while maintaining ongoing accuracy and attention to detail.

Excellent judgment and strong problem-solving skills.

Strong time management & organization skills.

Ability to quickly learn new systems and procedures.

Excellent verbal, written and communication skills.

Positive attitude, highly motivated, and ability to work well independently and in a team environment.

Confident personality, comfortable in dealing with clients and other employees.
