Business Systems Analyst (ERP / Dynamics 365)

The Business Systems Analyst supports enterprise business applications including the Dynamics 365 ERP platform, data systems, and reporting tools. This role works closely with business stakeholders to understand processes, translate business needs into system solutions, and ensure applications support operational efficiency. The position focuses on configuring and optimizing Dynamics 365, documenting workflows, supporting enhancements, troubleshooting issues, and improving reporting capabilities.Key ResponsibilitiesERP & Application SupportSupport and configure Dynamics 365 across finance, retail, supply chain, inventory, and order management.Map business processes to system capabilities and identify improvement opportunities.Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate solutions with IT teams or vendors.Monitor integrations, scheduled jobs, and system performance to proactively identify issues.Business Analysis & Process ImprovementGather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.Develop use cases, functional specifications, and testing scenarios.Identify opportunities to improve workflows, data accuracy, and operational efficiency.Reporting & Data InsightsDevelop and support operational reporting using Power BI, Excel, or similar tools.Ensure data accuracy and reliability across reporting systems.Support business teams with reporting and data analysis requests.Release & Change ManagementSupport ERP release cycles including testing, validation, and deployment coordination.Track enhancements, defects, and release tasks through tools such as Azure DevOps.Maintain documentation related to releases, configurations, and system changes.User Support & TrainingProvide day?to?day system support to business users.Develop user documentation and training materials for system updates.Support adoption of new system features and process changes.Key Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or related field.7–10+ years supporting ERP systems in a retail or multi?location environment.Experience with Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations, Commerce, or Supply Chain preferred).Strong understanding of finance, retail operations, inventory, and order management processes.Experience with Power BI or Excel reporting.Ability to translate business needs into system requirements and technical solutions.Strong problem?solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.Basic project management and process improvement experience.The salary range for this role is $90-$110K.
