Summary:

DMC is currently looking for a Warehouse Clerk (U/G), to join our team on a full-time contract basis, based in Sudbury, ON. The Warehouse Clerk (U/G) is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of inventory changes across various work settings. Working under the Supply Chain and Inventory Manager, this role requires consistent execution of repetitive tasks with a high degree of precision, accuracy, and adherence to established procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive approach to completing tasks within defined timeframes.

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate data entry to track and record inventory adjustments in real-time.

• Verify and reconcile inventory data for discrepancies or inconsistencies.

• Maintain and update inventory databases, spreadsheets, and records.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and communication.

• Adapt to diverse work settings, including shop, office, yard, and warehouse environments.

• Follow and adhere to company policies, guidelines, and procedures.

Receiving, inspecting, organizing, and distributing automotive and heavy equipment part.

Maintaining the U/G warehouse and updating logs.

Stocking shelves and picking/prepping orders for technicians (mechanics)

• Plus all other duties assigned

Qualifications:

• OSSD or Post-Secondary Education (Business Administration, Supply Chain Management) is an asset.

• Experience in inventory management, data entry, or a similar role is an asset.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Suites (e.g. Word, Excel).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data recording.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Results-oriented mindset with a focus on timely task completion.

• Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.

• Sense of urgency and a proactive approach to meeting deadlines.

• Punctual, dependable, and committed to following demonstrated procedures

Working Environment:

• May involve working in shop, office, yard, U/G or warehouse settings, depending on operational needs.

• Ability to perform tasks in environments that may include physical activities such as standing, walking, or light lifting (up to 30 lbs).

Additional Information:

• We are hiring to fill an existing vacancy.

• Hourly rate is expected to be: $20.00 (CAD) + hourly incentive bonus.
