Cookies by Kat is looking for a customer-focused, self-motivated Market Team Member to join our team.

*What you'll be doing*

*Representing Cookies by Kat at market events*

Showing up professionally, engaging customers with confidence, and creating a memorable experience that reflects who we are as a brand

*Customer Service*

Providing knowledgeable, friendly, diligent and efficient service to ensure the best possible customer experience for every situation

*Managing setup and breakdown*

Transporting, loading, and setting up the booth to brand standards, and leaving every market space clean and orderly

*Genuine, people-first sales*

Engaging customers warmly, sharing your knowledge of our products, and making recommendations with enthusiasm

*Handling transactions accurately*

Managing cash, card payments, and the point-of-sale system, and reconciling sales at the end of each market

*Tracking inventory throughout the event*

Monitoring stock levels, adjusting the display as inventory shifts, and communicating proactively with the owners

*Maintaining a clean, professional booth*

Keeping the display visually appealing and held to a high standard for the duration of every market

*Communicating before, during, and after*

Completing post-market debriefs, flagging issues, and sharing feedback to help us keep improving

*What we're looking for*

* A genuine people person who puts customers first and represents the brand with energy and professionalism

* Comfortable working independently and using good judgment when owners aren't on site

* Organized and able to manage logistics, inventory, and sales simultaneously

* A clear, proactive communicator

* Someone who thrives when it's busy and stays composed under pressure

* Takes genuine pride in a clean, well-kept space

* Reliable, punctual, and someone the team can genuinely count on

* A love of cookies doesn't hurt either!

Food service or market experience is a bonus, but attitude and willingness to learn matter more to us. You should be comfortable standing for extended periods and able to lift up to 50 lbs. Access to a reliable vehicle and a valid Class G licence are required for this role.

This role requires weekend availability. Market schedules vary and will be communicated in advance.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 24 per week
