Landscaping Labourer

*Overview*

We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Laborer to join our team and contribute to maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces. This position offers an opportunity to work outdoors in a dynamic environment, supporting various landscaping projects and ensuring the health and beauty of our clients' properties. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening, horticulture, and landscape maintenance, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

*Duties*

* Assist with landscape installation, including planting, sod laying, and soil preparation

* Operate and maintain mechanical equipment such as excavators and power tools

* Perform irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance

* Use hand tools and power tools for trimming, pruning, edging, and general landscape upkeep

* Support construction activities related to landscape projects

* Maintain cleanliness of work sites and ensure safety protocols are followed

* Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance

* Assist with garden bed preparation, mulching, and fertilization tasks

* Support team in completing projects efficiently while adhering to quality standards

*Experience*

* Prior experience in landscaping, gardening, or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate

* Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment is a plus

* Familiarity with excavation machinery such as excavators is advantageous

* Knowledge of irrigation systems, landscape maintenance practices, and construction techniques is beneficial

* Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively

* Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions is desirable

* Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials or equipment as needed
