Pastry Chef Assistant

*Overview*

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Assisstant to join our team. The ideal candidate would be one with previous baking experience and will have a passion for creating delicious pastries and desserts in a fast-paced kitchen environment. candidate with *Food handler* certificate is preferred. Expect weekend work, and off Mondays.

*Duties*

- Help prepare variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts

- Decorate pastries using various techniques

- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations

- Assist in maintaining inventory of pastry supplies

- Collaborate with the kitchen team to meet customer demands

*Skills*

*- baking experience is necessary. *

-Food handler certificate is preferred.

- Previous Experience in pastry preparation or baking

- Knowledge of food handling and food industry standards

- Bonus: Proficiency in cake decorating techniques

- Strong attention to detail and creativity in pastry presentation

- Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment

- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
