*Job Description*

As a valuable member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our patrons. You will be the heart of our business and as such should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and detail oriented. You will play a critical role in guest satisfaction. Accuracy and speed is essential. You will be responsible for producing delicious bread and pastries in accordance with our recipes. You will efficiently handle customer orders, maintain kitchen and front of the house areas, following guidelines presented by the Toronto Public Health Board.

*Basic Qualifications*

* Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation

* Available to work flexible hours that may include afternoons, weekends and/or holidays

* Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift

* Follows proper proofing and baking techniques for each variety of bread

* Maintains a clean and sanitary food production area according to Toronto Public Health standards

* Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodation

* Engage with and understand our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication

* Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients

* Previous food service experience and cash handling an asset

* Food safety/handling training an asset

* Bakery experience an asset

* Able to pay close attention to detail and calculate order totals properly

* Responsible, ability to take initiative and a positive attitude

* Legally entitled to work in Canada
