Line Cook

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering exceptional food service experiences. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment where attention to food safety and quality are paramount. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing menu items with precision and efficiency, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required

*Responsibilities*

* Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards

* Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients

* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including stations and equipment

* Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations

* Serve dishes promptly and accurately to ensure customer satisfaction

* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours

* Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to maintain a safe working environment

* Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking

*Qualifications*

* Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred but not required

* Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods

* Familiarity with food handling procedures and food safety standards

* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

* Excellent teamwork and communication skills

* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or holidays if required

* Passion for the food industry with a desire to grow culinary skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
