We are seeking a friendly and attentive Food Service Attendant to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, strong communication skills, and a passion for hospitality. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in food handling, service, and safety within a dynamic team setting.
*Duties*
* Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections
* Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
* Serve food and drinks in a professional manner, ensuring presentation standards are met
* Prepare simple food items and beverages, including barista-style drinks if applicable
* Handle food safely by following proper hygiene and sanitation protocols
* Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, counters, and service stations throughout shifts
* Assist with setup and cleanup of service areas before and after shifts
* Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously
* Support team members in ensuring smooth restaurant operations during busy periods
*Experience*
* Previous experience in restaurant or food service environments is preferred
* Knowledge of the food industry standards, including food safety regulations, is advantageous
* Experience in serving or hospitality roles demonstrates strong customer service skills
* Barista experience or familiarity with coffee preparation is a plus
* Ability to handle food safely and maintain cleanliness standards at all times
* Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for success in this role
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.20-$27.34 per hour
