Cook/Line Cook

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in kitchen operations, food preparation, specialized in continental food (Steak, Pasta, etc.)

Duties:

-*Cook:*

* Prepare and cook menu items according to recipe specifications

* Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet restaurant standards

* Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times

* Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to kitchen manager

* Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures

* Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies

* Cook and plate food items accurately and efficiently during service

* Follow portion control, presentation, and food quality standards

* Communicate with other team members and kitchen staff

* Clean up station and assist with closing duties

Requirements:

- Proven experience in the food industry

- Strong knowledge of food handling and safety procedures

- Experience with cooking steaks and grill items

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
