Food and Beverage Server

*Job Summary*

We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, serving guests, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food handling, customer service, and hospitality within a dynamic food industry setting.

*Duties*

* Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and safety standards

* Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for efficient cashiering and transactions

* Greet guests warmly and provide excellent guest services to enhance their dining experience

* Manage food safety and sanitation protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations

* Handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math for billing purposes

* Assist with food presentation and upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities

* Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment

* Restock supplies as needed and assist in food preparation during busy periods

* Ensure timely service by managing time effectively throughout shifts

*Skills*

* Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for efficient cashiering

* Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction

* Knowledge of food handling, safety, and sanitation standards in the food industry

* Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, including serving and food preparation

* Ability to manage time effectively during busy service hours

* Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing

* Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper sanitation procedures

* Kitchen experience or background in hospitality is a plus

* Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor for guest interactions

* Ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales

Pay: $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
