Shipper/Receiver/Forklift Operator (MUST BE LOCATED IN OTTAWA)

*Overview*

The position of Order picker/Shipper/Receiver/Warehouse Staff *(MUST BE LOCATED IN OTTAWA)*. The employee executes the warehouse plan, as communicated by the Logistics Coordinator and Plant Supervisor, in a safe and efficient manner, and possess the following characteristics:

*Job Tasks include:*

* Pick customer orders and prepare for shipping

* Transfer materials/finished goods between divisions

* Restocking picking bins

* Loading and unloading of transport carriers

* Prepare proper paperwork/documentation for shipments (as needed)

* Prepare courier shipments and process (as needed)

* Communicate specific information between divisions and co-workers

* Respond to CSR inquiries

* Maintain a clean and safe work environment

* Inventory cycle counts

* Other duties that may be required.

*Must Have:*

* Secondary school diploma

* *Forklift license for Counterbalance (electric & propane), Reach (electric) & Pallet jack (electric) - Mandatory,* TDG & WHIMS training (Nice to have)

* Experience picking in a warehouse

*Physical Requirements: *

· This position requires prolonged standing, walking and repetitive motion

· Continuous motion of getting on and off the forklift for order picking

· Ability to drive and operate forklift proficiently

· Must be able to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day

*Hours of work*

* Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

* Weekend and Overtime as required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
